RUTH Ministries International is a non-denominational Christian-based global ministry that mobilizes American believers to help fulfill the Great Commission. Founded in November 2001 as a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization, the vision of the ministry is to establish long-term relationships around the world, as God leads and provides, to assist international churches in bringing the Good News of the Gospel. The ministry also combines the meeting of practical needs through a focused, solution based approach.

The name of the ministry is based on Ruth 1:16: "Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God."
