As in previous years, the boys and girls of Romania who received gifts were full of smiles. For many this was the first time ever to receive a Christmas gift. In 2008, the ministry had a first happen that was quite amazing. Bobby, the boy in the picture here, told a campaigner that he had never heard about Jesus. It was not that he didn't know many details, but that he had NEVER heard the name of Jesus and didn't know who He was!

CAN YOU IMAGINE MEETING SOMEONE WHO HAS NO IDEA WHO JESUS IS?

This is one of the many great examples of why RUTH Ministries International has been called to serve in Romania. That is why it is so important to continue the special projects, like the "Greatest Gift" project.
