"Ready for what?" you might ask. How about going to a foreign country halfway around the world? How about spending six to eight days letting Jesus be your hands and your feet and your mouth? How about investing your time in that which is eternal - God's Word and the souls of mankind? Yeah, we know. You're thinking, "I can't do that…leave the country…take a week off of work or school. I can't _________."

How about, instead of worrying about what you can't do, look at what you can do:

• You CAN worship with people from another culture who desperately want to know who He is.
• You CAN make friends and build relationships with complete strangers who look different, talk different and act different, yet welcome you with open arms.
• You CAN hold a 6-month old baby who's been orphaned at the local hospital because her mother cannot afford to keep her.
• You CAN give food and water to children living on the street.
• You CAN bring a smile to the face of a child by giving Christmas gifts and sharing about the "Greatest Gift" - the birth of Jesus.
• You CAN repair a worn-down roof that leaks in when it rains and heat rushes out when it's cold.
• You CAN get your hands dirty working on the farm and by helping to build things.
• You CAN see and experience Jesus working in the hearts of lost souls.

RUTH Ministries International is beginning its fifth year of organizing and sending mission teams to Romania in Eastern Europe. This year will see a minimum of six campaigns scattered throughout the summer months and into the fall. The focus of each trip will be to share the good news of Jesus Christ. This will be accomplished through direct evangelism, church planting activities, vacation Bible school, construction projects, medical & dental services and the giving of shoe box Christmas gifts.

So, are you ready? Jesus called believers to "go and make disciples" and to "be My witnesses." He didn't wait until His followers were certain or sure or even comfortable.
