What use is it, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but he has no works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food, and one of you says to them, "Go in peace, be warmed and be filled," and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that? Ministries
RUTH's mission statement speaks of "Fulfilling the Great Commission by providing practical needs through Christian love." The core of the ministry is sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ. How the Good News is shared is accomplished through several areas. Initially the effort is made sharing the Gospel and creating relationships. This starts and grows the church. Outreach efforts are then identified and created to meet physical needs such as food, clothing and healthcare.
