Outreach

RUTH Ministries International believes in meeting the practical, real life needs of people that cannot help themselves. To reach the lost with the Gospel, many times this is the most effective way.

James, one of Jesus' disciples, said it this way: "If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food, and one of you says to them, 'Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,' and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that? Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself." (James 2:15-17)

We help nationals feed the street children and families. We provide clothing, medicine and other basic needs. This outreach is provided in cooperation with the local church, which helps establish the church's credibility in the community.

Perhaps St. Francis of Assisi explained it best: "Preach the Gospel at all times; if necessary, use words."
